OUR COMMUNITY, OUR CHOICE

QUEER-TO-QUEER FUNDING
The LGBTI Youth Fund strives to put LGBTIQ youth at the centre of its mission and strategy. To this end, the Fund is piloting a new participatory approach and has set up two LGBTIQ youth groups, one French-speaking (including Italian-speakers) and one German-speaking. The two groups are now launching their respective call for proposals and will decide on funding for the initiatives of their choice.

Each group is supported by a coordinator who facilitates the work as a group.

The Fund does its best to include as many perspectives as possible and make everyone feel comfortable, safe and listened to. The coordinators are both queer and have experience facilitating LGBTIQ youth groups.

SAFEGUARDING

It matters to us that you enjoy being part of the LGBTIQ youth groups. To make sure that you feel safe during this experience, the Fund has safeguarding measures in place.

To ensure that you have a positive experience, feel happy, listened to and free to share your ideas with your peers, each group will develop its own code of conduct and ways of working.
